How do you feel about A-Train's likely redemption? Has he earned it? Or does it feel like it's only for selfish gain? Idk how to feel RIP

I’ve had MANY thoughts about the potential for A-Train’s redemption. Not simply whether or not it should or shouldn’t happen, or whether or not it’s going to, but what it would look like, what it means for the rest of the characters in the story, and what it implies for HIS story (past and future).
But, if you don’t care about all that and want a straightforward answer, I’ll say that the idea of A-Train getting a redemption arc makes me uncomfortable. I simply don’t like it.
The short of why I don’t like it is that I feel that he hasn’t earned it.
